When Czech President Petr Pavel traveled to the United States, our Product Manager, Jaroslav Polacek, was part of the official delegation. He presented MapTiler to various audiences, strengthened business connections, and helped establish our presence. This is his account of the visit to the U.S.
From Czech Air Force One straight into business meetings
Immediately after landing, the delegation embarked on a dynamic schedule, covering New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Cedar Rapids. We had the opportunity to engage with influential leaders across various industries and present MapTiler’s technology to a diverse audience.
It was incredibly exciting to showcase the MapTiler platform and receive such positive feedback. The audience was impressed by the global impact we have achieved with our technologies in the mapping industry. It was a pleasure to meet representatives from government agencies, businesses, successful entrepreneurs, and politicians in official and informal meetings.
Establishing MapTiler in the United States
This unique business mission with the Czech President not only reinforced our success in the United States but also marked our official entry into the U.S. market, supporting the establishment of MapTiler Inc.
Launched earlier this year, MapTiler Inc. enables closer collaboration with U.S.-based customers. With a representative now directly in the U.S., we can respond faster to inquiries, provide more localized support, and strengthen partnerships with companies and institutions relying on our mapping technology.
